Precisely in order to underline and confirm this constant commitment to quality, sustainability and serious concern for human relationships, in 2016 the company fulfilled its destiny and became a B-CorpTM, thereby becoming part of a business movement aimed at looking beyond profit into the future and having a solid positive impact on both society and the environment.

The first in its sector to receive B-CorporationTM certification, Zordan has been committed for years to operating in a responsible and transparent manner, promoting initiatives in favour of the local area, reducing the environmental impact of production processes and actively contributing to the wellbeing of its own collaborators and staff.

Also in 2016, as further confirmation of a daily commitment to its stakeholders, the environment and the community in which it operates, Zordan took a further step, changing its corporate name and becoming one of Italy’s first Società Benefit.

What is a B-CorpTM ?

A B-CorpTM is a company that voluntarily assumes the obligation to act according to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility and measuring its impact in a rigorous and transparent way. The certification is issued by B Lab, a non-profit organization whose goal is to transform the power of business into a positive force that creates value.

The B-CorpTM community is constantly expanding and today has more than 2,500 certified companies in over 50 countries, all working towards a single shared objective, namely redefining the concept of success in business.

OBJECTIVE
B-CorpTMs are committed to creating value in a sustainable way, as well as generating profit. Sustainability is an integral part of the value proposition.
RESPONSIBILITY
B-CorpTMs undertake to consider the company's impact on social and environmental levels and to take into account the effects of each decision on both shareholders and stakeholders.
TRANSPARENCY
B-CorpTMs are required to make public a report that evaluates the overall business impact, drawn up according to an independent standard.
